Title: Atomic decompositions for coorbits via smoothness arguments


Coorbits are spaces of distributions for which a wavelet type transform has certain decay and integrability properties. The space is isomorphic to a reproducing kernel Banach space and the construction of atomic decompositions for the coorbit has so far required integrability of the kernel and its local oscillations. We replace these criteria with smoothness arguments and show that Garding vectors and smooth representation are natural objects for coorbit theory.
