Dr. L. K. Jones is an applied mathematics and statistics professor at the University of Massachusetts Lowell where he is also a coordinator of the Computational Mathematics Doctoral Program and a consultant to the Submillimeterwave Technology Laboratory. He has worked as an engineer and principle scientist for Lockheed, MIT Lincoln Laboratory and The Naval Research Laboratory. His current interests include transportation, mathematics of data mining, radar image processing, pattern recognition and simulation.
