Professor Benedetto is a Distinguished Scholar-Teacher of the University of Maryland. He is a professor in the Mathematics Department and in the Applied Mathematics and Scientific Computation Program. He is also the current and founding editor of the Applied and Numerical Harmonic Analysis book series, and founding editor-in-chief of the Journal of Fourier Analysis and Applications.
