Title: A New Technique for Finite Frame Construction

Abstract:

Frames are special collections of vectors utilized in both Harmonic Analysis and Digital Signal Processing. This talk covers frames with finitely many members, which are thus frames for n-dimensional real or complex space. A new technique is presented that allows for the construction of all finite frames belonging to significant frame families. If time allows, applications to the Kadison-Singer conjecture, CDMA signature sequence optimization, and the geometry of finite frame families will be addressed.
