Title:

The Fugelde conjecture holds in Zp2

Abstract:

Let E be a subset of Zp2 where p is prime. We show that any mapping f from E to the complex numbers can be expressed as linear combinations of characters orthogonal in L2 (E) if and only if E tiles Zp2 by translations. We will also discuss the background and the history of this problem in a variety of settings.
